Well yes my last post was a long time ago ... i'm at home again in Austria, but nevertheless i wanna show my way in and from LA to Stanford:
ok first my travel was around LA:
jep and then go home --> 2 Stanford. My way took all along the west coast up. i had a short stop in St. Barbara for a coffee but that's it :)
One main attraction in L.A. are the Universal Studios in Hollywood. They are like a disneyland 4 adults! check it out:

first thing in San Diego --> Beach and yes it's great :) everthing u can see :p

then i went through seaport village, a nice little place to shop and drink a coffee.

btw. the tire is already fixed, but have u ever tried to change a tire with completely rusty bolts? shit work!
i was just hungry and went by car of course to the supermarket to buy breakfeast and what happend? a flat tire, tssssss
Today was Grand Canyon day. because of time shortness i had decided to go in and out by plan. my luck was, that they upgraded my tour from a flight through to a flight, walking around and flying back.
and finally i met santa there :)
and in the evening i explored the Wynn a little bit.

because of a very bad night in the last hotel i decided to try my luck with hotwire ... and i was really lucky. i got a hotel on the strip, very nice, clean, quiete with pool!
after pool city again and later i booked the show The Blue Man Group.
And i could buy the sticks they used *hehehehehehe*

i woke up, there was just one goal in mind: Las Vegas. During my drive through the Mojave dessert i made break at .... Burger King *lol* there was like 20mi nothing and then suddenly it apears :)

and finally i made id. checked into a cheap hotel and let's go downtown. i had the idea to drive the strip from south 2 north ... well 2 hours for 5mi :) but i saw the The Mirage Volcano, check out the video

i ate perfect at the sushi house. well the water wasa 7$ that was not so nice but the best sushi ever and a very nice place.
and of course a little bit gambling. when u play on the 1c slots ... not that big damage can happan. 21$ lost and drinks for free.

thx daniel i have a car 4 my trip - from a kia to a 4-wheel drive subaru
then i needed 2 hours to buy some stuff at IKEA and equipped the car with my pc and a GPS device. u know there always troubles with that stuff.
mhm what's the best thing ... a traffic jam. what do u do? of course playin all the windows card games *jejejejeje* :p
because of the +2 hours i decided to stay in a california inn and will continue my travel tomorrow.

I decided to stay one day longer to have more chillout in stanford and spend some time with daniel and erika.
daniel and me checked the car, changed oil, replaced something i have no idea what name it has, but the car is now fine for my trip.
after hard work, we went to an mexican restaurant and they had magarita special there *jummi* and after 3 magaritas it was quite a nice time there :)
in the evening some beers in Palo Alto was a good thing to do.
Iin the afternoon we - Daniel, Erika and me went to Standford shopping mall, because Daniel was on fire to make "Kaesespaetzle". well result was a kind of pancakes :)
ben a friend of them joined the whole action.
after we enjoyed the howwever u call that it was time for the pool :) sure that i pushed Erika and Daniel into the pool :p
just one thing left - drinking his cold good beer in the jacuzzi :)

puh was a tuff night yesterday in san francisco. that's why i have a very chilled breakfeast here at the princeton university campus ;)
and here u can see the Stanford Memorial Church.
The church which is in the middle of the University Campus was build in app. 1900 by Jane Standford as a memorial for her husband.
im prinzip gehts darum wie wie aus waerme strom gewonnen wird und wir dann alle irgendwann in der matrix landen :)

Freitag: hey 5 tage die woche arbeiten da war einfach chillout an einem fluss. die seele baumeln lassen ... nichts tun, den enten zusehen, .... ... .. . . . . .
Samstag: war kutlur tag. es ging ins American Museum of Natural History. very impressive aber einfach zuuuuu grosz. ich war mit gloria dort und nach 3h hatten wir einfach genug. es reichte aber fuer 4 von 5 stockwerken und sie haben dort einfach alles ueber die natur und naturgeschichtliches. also jeder der es mal nach NYC schafft sollte auf jedenfall auch nur 1h einen blick reinwerfen.
Sonntag: SHOOOOOOOOOOOPPING im woodbury outlet, ahm ja oliviere musste seine letzten dollars los werden und da gings natuerlich in ne grosze outletmall mit alexis, claudine, michelle + freundin, gloria und oliviere. was soll ich anderes sagen als hemd von GUESS um 15$?
Am Abend dann hat Yann koestlichst aufgekocht, sehr lecker! tja zuammen gessesen und dann heimgegangen :)

ein unglaublicher tag in der geschichte meines lebens, also ......
als erstes trafen sich 25 leute bei uns im apartment um fein zu speisen und cockatils zu schluerfen.
matthias brachte es fertig fuer alle leute zu kochen - und lecker war es auch noch.
im anschluss ging es dann mit der limo nach NYC in den China Club der noch eine top roof lounge hatte. er war jetzt nicht auszergewoehnlich aber wir waren ein haufen leute zum party machen!

the post is one day 2 late but i'm now 24 :)
my birthday was (thanks to my girlfriend) one of my best days of my life.
Of course working was very nice. a lot of drinking coffee, a lot of handshaking, jup was a nice day. it was also a good day because gloria told me, she wanna make a romantic evening in my room, so was waiting the hole day that it ends ;)
after work that i had time 2 run and take a shower and then ... the doorbell was ringing ... gloria was there. but instead of coming in, she said we are going out. ok np let's go ... the people who know avalon know that i was raining very heavy so we got sucking wet till the car.
after some personal gifts and time with her, i got my eyes covered and we went to somewhere. then i had to walk on the street, was funny with seeing nothing and we entered a bar. my eyes got light back and ...
"happy birthday 2 u, h ...." *damn* thank to gloria and alexis most of my u.s. friends were here on my birthday. (ufff jup hat mich richtig umghaut) puh then we went to a restaurant and had a very good diner and a good time together.

sooooooooooo ein kleines webfundstueck: und zwar find ich iGoogle (personalisierte Startseite von google search mit widgets) eine ziemlich geile idee aber bei 100.000 widget wie bei mir dauert das ewig. tja und dann noch keine ahnung was google mit meinen daten macht .... daher hab ich netvibes entdeckt. das gleiche prinzip nur find ich schneller und besser gemacht. auch ham die gleich ne coole developer seite rangefuegt damit ma sich seine eigenen widget schreiben kann, kewl nicht?
